Four children on their home planet make a mysterious discovery that causes them to become lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. The holographic circus that entertains the young Neel siblings is the same one that Chewbacca’s family watches in the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special (1978). s Crazy Cartoon: Silly Old Deadly Bear (2022). I watched the first two episodes and while there is a clear attempt to create "bearings in space" point here, what’s wrong with that? It’s a very different take on the story that exists in the Star Wars universe. I liked the look and feel of what a suburban town looks like in this world because we’ve never seen one. The town they came from reminded me more of E.T. neighborhood than anything we’ve seen on the shows recently. The four main characters are typical but likable, each with their own well-defined roles in the group and well-acted. The pirate vibe isn’t necessarily something we’ve seen before, and adds a bit of an eerie element and atmosphere of danger. If this was an 80s movie, it would definitely fit. I’ve loved it so far because of the new storytelling elements in the Star Wars universe, the nod to nostalgia for the movies from my childhood, and the fact that I can share this Star Wars experience with my kids.
